what the hell is going on at the gurney flap of the diffuser? They seem different

It is. The double slotted gurney flap was introduced at Spa.

The one on the right seems like the new one and also appears to include some new parts coming out of the back of the engine cover and exiting behind the beam wing.

Looks to me as if the right is the Monza specific package (or part of it) being compared to the baseline, which is the one on the left.
Not to bump my own post, but this was the comparison between beam wings I made earlier

Thanks!

It's quite hard to spot imo due to the similarity on the trailing edge compared to the old solution.

I try to find out what the weak spots of the car are up today. The car doesnt lack of topspeeds anymore, the car handling well in the corners, the traction looks fine now, and it is kind with its tyres. But will small "tweaks"recover 8 tenths?

could those diffuser gurney flaps and new rear beam wing be flexible and reduce drag when car reaches high speed?
