Hamilton may be on the way to Mercedes, but does he fit in to the German engineering perfection theme?

I hope this is photoshopped? :wtf:
"There is a credit card with the Ferrari logo, issued by Santander, which gives the scuderia a % of purchases made with the card...

I would guess that such a serious amount of money would allow them to ignore the constant complains of a car that was nowhere near as bad as their #1 driver tried to sell throughout the season.

Heck, a car on which Massa finishes in the podium or has to lift so that his teammate finishes ahead (As we saw often in the final races of the year) is, by no means, a "bad" car."

At least one thing has been definitely confirmed; Lewis's pisspoor taste in clothing.

"Most of the focus with Lewis and the technical programmes is about what we are doing now," said Whitmarsh. "Developing next year's car is the work of technologists, engineers and designers.

"The drivers, apart from when they sit in it, are not that intimately involved in the process."

Key words are underlined in your quote.

Of course the driver's aren't gonna do any real engineering work.
In my job the machine operators make requests to modify machines all the time, and most of the times they have real original, innovative Ideas. You as the engineer can determine whether the idea is rubbish or not.. you do the engineering work.. but it was not your idea.. it was theirs.. and yes the "lowly" machine operator CAN push deadlines on you if he wishes. So I think Hamilton's front wing Idea and Rear view mirrors Ideas are well conjured up and well pushed for... Or else they wouldn't be on the car!

I I think Hamilton will be a great asset to Mercedes. I hear Nico Rosber is also very technical.

McLaren will let Button take points away from Hamilton.

I am glad Lewis is leaving.

Or in another way, the team respects both of their drivers and lets them both drive to their maximum and lets both be able to score a maximum result

it´s like the guys around here ..raymondo,manchild,legendary (please forgive there are too many to mention)You might come up with an idea ,even a very good one if you got creativity plus a sound understanding of the physics involved.
If he feels he can give input -why not he ´s close to the engineers so he has a chance to get listened to .Still my standpoint is a driver is not there to actually drive the update generation ,he is there to drive the car and give feedback about the things that restrict him if he hapens to have a godd idea that can be evaluated .fine..maybe if thats the case he could really make a substantial impact with MGP :wtf: :wtf:

And that's the problem. With Vettel in RedBull and Alonso in Ferrari getting better treatment, for Lewis it's much harder for him to win a championship in a McLaren when even know McLaren is allowing Button to take points away from him. Lewis is thinking for himself and I am glad he is moving to Merc, if he is.
