Incoming Mercedes announcement :/
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Very very unlucky for Hamilton. He has been driving brilliantly this season and failures has let him down.

McLaren may be able to build a fast car, but if they have this reliability and make all the operational mistakes that they have this year then they're never going to give him another shot at the title. Mercedes probably aren't going to either, but on a one year deal it may be worth a go.

I really feel bad for Hamilton, he deserved this one.
And I'm an Alonso fan.
However I dont think championship over, there are six races left. Anything can happen:P

Only Spa comes to my mind. The thing is Lewis was also one of the victims :(

is hamiltons engineer taking the piss, "just look forward to the next one"

why didnt they take the grid drop to get the points. Mclaren screw Hamilon again

championship over. Hamilton, move on - i really don't think mclaren understand how to win the championship. Its always win win win which is obviously why they didn't take the grid drop. You need consistent points! Look at Alonso, look at Kimi. COPY AND PASTE

Strangely, echos of Hakinnen vs Schumacher... Hakinnen was a lot of the time (most even?) faster than Schumi, but just couldn't finish a damn race compared to a bullet proof ferrari.

Yesterday's lateral contact with the wall.

Do you thing it had an effect on the gearbox?
