I think he is too proud to do that, but a certain GOAT Valentino Rossi showed his humble side this year and he will be back with Yamaha next year. If he has any sense (providing this transition doesn't... provide), he will do well to go back to at least McLaren.

Based on what? I don't and won't, believe a word that team says; especially after they strung their fans along. If I was Nico I would've been sizing up a spot at McLaren - missed opportunity.

Lol, how do they know they have a good car relative to others?

They don't.

As a hamilton fan I am happy. The negative comments are coming from hamilton detractors as usual.

I guess all the inexplicably bad results for Lewis make sense now.

Forgetting how to refuel a car and making him start last on the grid, when on course for a win.

Pit crew forgetting how to change wheels/use a jack.

Gearbox exploding on the way to an easy win.

All of which effectively ruined Lewis' chances at a WDC this year despite the best year of driving since whenever.

Maybe Vettels bad luck this year is also related to a move  .

*silly season*

Based on history, and the steps teams take based on relatively flat regulation changes, they can make an educated guess.

I am also one of the biggest Hamilton fans and I think he ducked up big time. McLaren was his family, giving him everything he wanted. Money is not everything. Ron was a father to him. And that's how he thanks him? And yes, Lewis will realise how much he ducked everything up and he will beg them to take him back for a lot less money they offered him now.

Reminds me of Senna's move to Williams. Didn't end well.

If things go bad at Mercedes i don´t see him going back. I think Ferrari and Red Bull will be more lucrative options.

Unless of course Mclaren wins the coming championships and then all of a sudden the tide has changed and Mclaren don´t need Hamilton.

Has it shown that it can win, in my opinion, No. Sure it was formerly the Championship winning Brawn team, but that was a fluke. Since taking the reins, Mercedes has done nothing. Mercedes isnt going to throw unlimited amounts of money at this team to make it work. THey have publicly said so.
and this is the key. Merc will not spend the money ferrari redbull, or even possibly Mclaren would. F1 is no.1 first and foremost a marketing vehicle for them, whereas the other big 3 have genuine reasons to win...their company brands totally depend on it. For Merc its just about showcasing the brand on an international stage - all tieing in perfectly with Ham's ambition to be some sort of global superstar. It will be a total fail if he doesnt get a championship in 2 years, time will tell.

Mercedes have had 3 years to develop the car, and as far as i can see have made no progress from 2010.
There is the argument that Lewis is thinking longterm, that having a works Merc engine will reap rewards. Well...that hasnt made much difference to Mclaren or Sauber this year has it?

Ham is probably the fastest driver in quali conditions, but over an entire season? Against redbull/vettel and Alonso/Ferrari? He doesnt stand a chance.

Btw, Jenson unfollowed Lewis and followed Sergio on Twitter.
How can you see this? Do you expect LH to publicly respond to this?
"There is a credit card with the Ferrari logo, issued by Santander, which gives the scuderia a % of purchases made with the card...

I would guess that such a serious amount of money would allow them to ignore the constant complains of a car that was nowhere near as bad as their #1 driver tried to sell throughout the season.

Heck, a car on which Massa finishes in the podium or has to lift so that his teammate finishes ahead (As we saw often in the final races of the year) is, by no means, a "bad" car."
