Ferrari needs a better/stronger driver than Massa if they want to win/finish higher in WCC. If they cannot get one of FI drivers or Kova, MSC can be a good choice for them.

Re: Future of Schumacher

how does this article from april relate to now though? it does not at all

monty was gutted schumi had to leave red and wanted a third car just to keep him

he will feel the same now and want him back i think

hard to know though but that is my gut feeling

mike is very diplomatic too and could twist his arm if needed - plus mike is like the terminator whereas massa is a wee softy and holding them back in the constructors as someone else already kindly pointed out

would be so UNREAL if he was in red next year - still feel like this could only be a dream though - bit surely everyone would see that as a dream - the entire paddock grid and team?

guys .... you will be disappointed Sunday when Michael will announce his retirement. Move to ferrari it's more than a dream.... nobody there want him back because they need someone young. And about Sauber i;m sure Michael will refuse.

For Christ's sake, you don't know that! Stop posting like we are 5-year olds who need to learn a lesson and daddy just repeats the difficult math exercises until they understand them, its frustrating and honestly no one knows what will happen apart from MSC. I know that you are happy MSC lost his seat but you are annoying many people in here.

Clipsy is a big MSC fan, don't misunderstand him.

No final decision on Massa, if Montezemolo tells the truth.

given that these words were spoken just 3 months ago, one could imagine a monty saying yes please mike when you are ready ;)

“Alonso is the best driver in the world,” Montezemolo said in a recent interview with CNN. “He is one of those drivers, like Lauda and Schumacher, who have had a great importance in my professional life and in that of Ferrari. He has all the requisites for winning, but we need to improve the car.

“He has a fantastic attitude: just like Schumacher, he knows how to work closely with the team and he maintains that positive attitude, even in the difficult moments. Now the aim is to improve for the round in Canada.”

My first thought was that Mike would be perfect to replace Massa,, but then I don't have clipsy1H's insight or perception

Didn't Sauber originally have an rights to sign Schumacher ? They might now get their chance... 20 years later, and it both cases it was thanks to Mercedes.

I don't really see Montezemolo hiring back Schumacher. Montezemolo was the one who drove Michael out of Ferrari into retirement.
