Maybe it's sound too hazy but people on other forums are speaking about Michael who wants to buy out Britney's contract and do at least one more year...
The foundation of this story relies on the fact that next year car W04 is a big step forward compared to W03...
People speaking about a new revolutionary sidepods design which incorporates ideas from Ferrari F92A or Toro Rosso from last year working in tandem with the bespoken interlink suspension which would give them a so called ground effect, leading to a minimum 30-35% gain in down force ...
Michael did postpone his call till October, coz he wanted to see the progress and the wind tunnel numbers with this new car but was caught up by MGP decision that was eagerly to sign some new and very useful sponsors...
Now before his retirement he wants just to prove that with the proper machinery he could do the same results like did in his first career time, coz he showed us this year (but most of all he showed himself) he can do it at the very high level when has the right car (Monaco pole)...

Sources? Sound a bit Alice in the Wonderland to me.

The Ferrari and STR weren´t exactly great examples to base car designs on.

Hmm...interesting, but then again people could get the wildest ideas.
I just think that Rosberg will not sell his contract/seat for any type of money, especially if there are no other seats availible that are of the calibre he would want to be in.
And chances are, that IF this sidepod speculation is indeed true and MIKE knows about it, then Rosberg does too.

I would not give up my seat if I knew the the next car might have a real shot at the title or a couple of wins next season. As much as I would like something like that, Rosberg will not go or fall for something like that.
My 2 cents.

Well since it came from somewhere then that would be a source.
even if it´s a forum.

True that.
A 30% improvement in downforce... Really?
Do they have another EBD and the "Fan" from the BT46B? 30% is a serious stretch I think

30-35% downforce would probably put them around where redbull , ferrari and mclaren currently are =D>

30-35% extra downforce puts them where the others are ?? Now way.
You're talking about and extra 300Kg of Downforce or more. That is a MASSIVE gain. If MErcedes can find that I doubt they will holding onto their aero team for very much longer.

Straight away, you know its BS

35% extra downforce increase would probably put Caterham near Ferrari =D>

Re: Future of Schumacher

it is only speculation but one thing is sure and that is the W04 will be more competitive. I don't know if car can fight for Championship but for few wins i'm sure. If we look back in 2009-2010 we see huge steps forwards.
I believe next year MGP will be like Brawn GP.... Ross wanted so much a driver who can fight for championship with a reason
in my opinion I think there is only one situation for Michael to stay at Mercedes. If Ferrari gives Nico a contract something like 20 million per year

Which I think they wont do, because Rosberg will not drive as a Nr 2 driver agains any team mate.

Consider that Peter Sauber only came out of retirement to save his team after it was unceremoniously dropped by BMW. SO what if Schumacher plans to race for Sauber with a view to buy the team?.... He would likely bring in VAG as an engine supplier. He is a strong enough brand to attract the right sponsors and get the backing to secure the teams future...
He won't be inheriting the pig sty Prost did when he agreed to take over Ligier....
