Well that is somehow correct. I went to the Hungaroring last year with a friend who isn't so familiarised with F1 and I was pointing out to him who is who when they were passing by and I remember people around me were like "How do you know which driver is in which car, how do you know them all

" - at one point somebody asked me how do I know them and I was like "Simple, by the colour of the T and I happen to know the helmets too"
For example, in the Ferrari case, I know which of the drivers is shown onboard by the angle of the camera / the bulls have their numbers on the steering wheel / Lotus drivers can be distinguished by their helmets.
