Well, Alonso was just beside Kimi and had the yellow flag having to slow down when he was improving his best lap. Few seconds after this, the flags turned green again. He said that he could have been fourth in this qualy...rssh wrote:This year it seems that Alonso has the best luck in almost every race and McLaren is really very unlucky , there leading driver is the one wrong footed by yellow flags and Button showed speed but gets 5 grid drop . May be this bad luck is the reason for Hamilton leaving for good (I kind of thought @ China that he may be intrested in MERC when he relished the idea of driving with NICO in the same car) .
I wasn't really thinking that RBR will be the favourite in Suzuka even after they were fastest in the Practice sessions because McLaren have been really good in these high speed corners .
Now all Vettel has to do is pole to flag with Mark holding the field up behind and please someone else be on the podium and not Alonso fighting it all and making on the podium (I have RBR fan written all over me).

Vettel was in front of him, also on a fast lap before S2 and abandoned it. Loads of people had problems with slow runners before the chicane, because they were slowing down after 130R, that's why Vergne got penalized. If the same, or similar thing happened, Vettel should get equal treatment. Isn't that what everybody wants? Equal treatment for Champion and Karthikeyan?Raptor22 wrote: what a load of crock. Was Schumacher/Ferrari era as boring as this? I ask because I haven't watched those races.beelsebob wrote:Yee gods, RedBull have found something... Looks like we'll have a German WDC 3 years running

I don't think Helmut will allow this to happen, he is all about conspiracy against RB anyway...
It was worse because you sort of knew Schumacher was going to get pole. Even if he didn't you sort of knew he was going to put in quali laps before his fuels stops and get ahead anyway.Morteza wrote:Was Schumacher/Ferrari era as boring as this? Yes, when it really got into his domination it was, hence why I stopped watching F1 in about 2002-2003ish.Morteza wrote:Was Schumacher/Ferrari era as boring as this?
