A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.
I just wanted to say what an amazing live video of Senna, very rare and as a Senna nut amazing to view. Really wish I was there! Do you have anymore lol!
Thanks for sharing. The informality is delicious. They were apparently not allowed to use the regular pits so they were using, what, a garden shed or some metal utility building? When Senna leaves the track he takes a steep and bumpy asphalt lane up a hill to the shed. At the top of the hill he had to turn the car around without hitting the large tree so the mechanics can push the car backward into the shed. And in the shed there were brilliant mechanics and engineers diligently working on their new beast. No ropes to hold the spectators back, they were simply expected to watch without getting in the way. Senna is only half the charm on this video.
