Mercedes AMG F1 W03

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Not anymore. I was in doubt too but thought that GPUpdate can accurately label their photos. I apologise for the mistake.

Another link to the new Mercedes diffuser http://twitpic.com/b31bwe.

Also, their rear brakeducts look new, similar to pre-monaco spec.

When I compared the old and new diffuser, I couldn't see any difference. Can somebody point out to me what they have changed on the diffuser

why this gap on the front clamp of the frontwing? seems to me this could be a range in which the frontwing could flex despite the discussions and strengthened test.

what do you guys think?

Apparently, Lauda insists that duct tape, super glue & epoxy/putty are all Schu's gonna get for body repairs from this point on 'til the end of the season.

Considering that the car is a sec off from front-running pace in either quali or race, I don't think the FiA/scrutineers are paying too much attention to this team's creative/innovative engineering efforts.
