I get amazed everytime i see the coke bottle of the Ferrari, not sure if it actually is but it looks like it´s way tighter then any other competitior.

there´s so much floor there it´s crazy.

I have just picked up something...Alonso used new cascade wings for qualifying and the first dew seconds of the race

you can see the new cascade wing here on the front wing in front close to the floor:

and you can see it on his hanging car from Japan as well:

Also, the middle fin from the upper three fins on the front brake ducts is new, and thus one of the small updates:

Let's wait and see what the other 3 are...

Well spotted amouzouris. So they used a new main flap with a longer chord and straighter trailing edge, and different cascades. With changes that are so subtle and detailed, I always wonder how much improvement they bring. Are we talking 2% or 0.05%? I guess every little bit helps.

I'm pretty sure that they will attach something to the 2nd fin.

Agreed, look the second fin is still exposed carbon, which means we shall see it debut today during FP1/FP2

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Previously they would just attach small extension - cap on that second fin. But we shall see if they have sth new this time.

Ted Kravitz just mentioned that Ferrari have a black line/inlet on the rear wing of Fernando Alonso's car...then saying they are probably tilting/changing angles of the louvres...DRDS/DDRS?

I believe those slots allow them to change the angle of the main plain of the wing so they can tune the amount of downforce produced. They can move it within the unpainted portion of the endplate. This appears to be the same wing design they ran at Spa. Both Alonso and Massa ran this wing in FP1 today, but spent the majority of their time with the higher downforce wings. Alonso again ran a version with the bottom 'gills' first seen in Singapore, and tested again in Japan.

looking at alonso's ferrari, the mirror is not mounted at the flow conditioner. They went back to their original configuration.
