I agree with Saribro. Track map, and horn mounting point.
Its a strange place for the track map though. Its often used as a reference for the driver, I guess he would only need to look at it after he crashes out or something though.

Saribro is right. As Tomba will put more picturse in the gallery, I'll ask him to put online the one I took of the Toro Rosso cockpit as they have the track map pasted on the steering wheel. You can see it more clearly there than on the BMW car
