in the worst case scenario a car could be trap inside the tunnel with cars waiting behind it, which would make recovery effort more difficult. And this could mean those pit cars behind might have to wait for a few minutes before they could rejoin the track. If its a few minutes, that would mean that team like HRT and Marussia could actually end up finishing i points.raymondu999 wrote:Reports a while back said it would mean a pit lane closing, or a red flag - though a red flag seems farfetched.
I would expect that, if any of the title challengers are caught in such a way then Charlie would throw a red flag. If just mid fielder/back markers are caught then I reckon he wouldn't.raymondu999 wrote:Reports a while back said it would mean a pit lane closing, or a red flag - though a red flag seems farfetched.
How do you extrapolate that?Javert wrote:Video from Pirelli that shows approximately the level of downforce of current F1 cars
With DRS open, we have 800 kg at 225 kmh, 1200 kg at 277 kmh (so at 311 kmh we get 1513 kg of DF)
Downforce "depends" on square the speed, soWhiteBlue wrote:How do you extrapolate that?Javert wrote:Video from Pirelli that shows approximately the level of downforce of current F1 cars
