Wow. Starting from the pitlane :o Not even Hamilton got that! Even worse than starting at the back. You have to let all the cars by, more or less, before you can exit the pitlane, as MSC found out in Hungary.

They probably wanted to mask it with some bs technical problem.

Sebastian Vettel has been sent to the back of the grid for stopping on the track after qualifying for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The stewards’ report said: “It was checked whether car number 01 had enough fuel on board in order to be driven back to the pits under its own power and in addition to this that a one litre fuel sample may be taken.

“The car had 850ml fuel on board which is not enough for the required one litre fuel sample.”

Right in the back of the cucumber.

A few of us said right at the beginning of this issue.

Forget all the bulllshit about mechanical failures, check the damn fuel levels before anything else is said or done.
Maybe they were using a micropipette to check the fuel levels.

Yep, they tried to cheat their way out of this and got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. I think that is why they are starting from the pits, and with the awful pit at Abu Dhabi which is not along the start finish straight he is going to start way behind the pack.

That means Maldonado will start 3rd alongside Kimi.
