That confirms it, they knew they had low fuel and tried to pass it off as technical failure with no penalty for replacing the part.

They would have done some calculations, it has to A-get back to the pits by itself and B-still have 1 litre of fuel for analysis.

Red Bull were probably hoping that they would have more than 1 litre of fuel and get away with it. They stopped the car too later though.

Find it interesting how this decision correlates with Alonso talking this days about the fact that you can have bad luck anytime, tables can turn very fast and he belives in his chances at the title.
"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe." Murray Walker, San Marino 1985

It will be ironic if Vettel get stuck behind Petrov tomorrow

Watch for Maldonado antics in the first few corners. Could get dicey!

If he wins the title, it will be one of the most impressive in quite some time.

And it would happen due to his skills and determination. How was that car at the start of the season - nightmare. Poor Massa didn't know what the f**k he was driving...
Nice to have the title battle pushed into the last 2 races though. Way more exciting than last year.

Vettel will start at the back of the grid :) due to lack of fuel. Come on Alonso close that gap down :)

It has been clarified this morning, 4 times per year, 2 times per weekend (that's the added part). Why wasn't anyone talking about that before decision over Vettel? Hmmm...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!
