I never thought he could reach p3 from pitlane!
Is that a record or something?
Last time it was Schumy who got to p5 from pitlane, when was the last time who got into podium from pitlane?

Simple question

Can someone please explain to me how this was a "great" drive

-Breaks part of his front wing during a clumsy overtake, lucky not to do further damage.
-Crashes into a bollard/sign during the safety car and further damages the front wing.
-Passed Grosjean by going off the track and had to give the place back.
-Red Bull Sacrificed Webber by making him pit so Vettel could get past
-Got bailed out by two safety cars, the second car's timing couldnt be any better
-Struggled to Overtake button on fresh soft tyres against a car on Mediums.

Does this dispell anyone's misgiving's on how good Vettel is?

Feel free to disagree.
You forgot to mention Vergne, I think it was, just giving him a place.

Spot on mate, Very lucky. but I guess every driver has his fans. Vettel will only prove himself when he has a decent team mate. And I cant see that happening anytime soon.

So true. Maybe it was me crying about Ricciardo breaking too much at the beginning of the race... How easily people forget things

Didn't Vettel do something similar to Button in Singapore?

Final point for me today, I thought it was real bad taste for some of the Red Bull mechanics to be cheering the Webber crash as they were hoping for another safety car. Unless the live feed was out of sync this was shown before the safety car was announced.

Great race Kimi, grat race Alonso ... Vettel pffff lucky sob. Button ... not McLaren-worthy. Perez, get yourself together.

Hamilton showed he is one of the best, Alonso also.

Pretty much.

I'm fed up with this season. Lady luck has be very kind to some drivers and not others.

TR is a disgrace. They shouldn't be there. We were all joking about Sauber and Ferrari, but RB and TR are really doing that.

Today is a textbook example of why I don't respect Vettel.

WHO are these TOP DRIVERS he has overtaken today???

Who?

He struggled to overtake button who was on used frigging mediums!

2 safety cars. And 2 front wing breaking incidents.

Both safety cars came at opportune times for Vettel. The first allowed him 1 free pitstop, to change both the tyres and the front wing.
The second pitstop crunched the deficit to Button to 0.

Can we look at the facts here?

Okay I lied, still watching the post race stuff. On Sky they just showed the highlights of Vettel's "great race", as they announced it, and they only showed one successful overtake from Vettel - that one on Button.
