Agreed Websta. I'd watch his races if he went to any kind of track racing - like DTM or touring cars. If he can ever drive single seaters again, would that mean we could see him in GP2 or WSR ?
Education is that which allows a nation free, independent, reputable life, and function as a high society; or it condemns it to captivity and poverty.

IIRC GP2 regs preclude drivers who competed a full F1 season from participation.

I got across rumors saying M-sport and Citroen asked FIA for permission to place gear lever on the left side. Author(s) were linking this requests with Robert.

Didn't Grosjean go back to GP2?

He said FULL season. Grosjean only did about 7 races in 2009.

Kubica is set to test a Mercedes DTM Machine at some stage next week in Valencia.

Apparently it was asked that the test be kept secret, but due to a media leak Auto Moto und Sport have run the story anyway.
Great news for Kubica, hope the test works out and he gets some races for Mercedes this year.
But AMuS have pointed to the restrictive cockpit and more lengthy races which could prove a major hindrance to any competitive comeback.

If this is true this truly brings warmth to my heart, I love Kubica's fighting spirit!
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

I hate to admit it , but I doubt Bob will be back in F1 by then ,if at all. I hope I'm wrong!

I've been told a little more about Robert situation last month, I can tell the details of the discussion but it kills all my hope...
Only thing I can tell is that he still have massive speed but - and it hurts me saying that - he'll never race on F1 again. Even in a car as fast as LMP2 would be a miracle...

Honestly, it is only communication. From what I've been told, he has more chance to be visited by Pope John Paul II.

Agreed. Roberts arm movement is extremely restricted and there is no chance of it being rectified. He has already confirmed on several occassions, that he will never be able to drive a foruula 1 car, or any other narrow cockpit car. Anything appearing in papers is pure speculation and wishful thinking.

Sad that all this speculation creates false hopes.
