While I don't believe Lewis is emotionally unstable, I do agree with this statement:

Vettel and Button complain as well. Nothing new.

True, he had a very good season in terms of driving, but I would never sign for my team someone who is acting so childishly by posting telemetry data on twitter for the whole planet to see. He is not a kid anymore and I judge him by the same standards I have for anyone.

I can't imagine Vettel, Button, Kimi or Rosberg and Webber for example doing such things. Hamilton is a complicated personality and although he is vastly talented I have my doubts if he is what Mercedes needs right now. After all, I don't think he has the right amount of patience, but I really hope I'm wrong.

As for Brawn's comments that "Hamilton's arrival will inspire the team to try even harder", they are at least unprofessional. A devoted Mercedes employee should always try to do the best for the team, and I think that this really shows the morale and attitude behind the Brackley walls. On the other hand, its not like they had Taki Inoue and Narain Karthikeyan as a driving pair in the year 2012 and that is the reason for the lack updates.

example, if someone is emotional and spontaneous, he will likely remain like that for the rest of his life. He might learn to control it to some extend, surely, but deep down and when the situations trigger it, there will be a burst of emotions of any kind, a thing we have seen from Hamilton over the years. I take in mind though that in 2012 he was impressive in terms of patience, if we exclude the "twitter-gate"
Vettel who gave the finger to a fellow driver, called him names and was annoyed when faster driver passed him in Germany.

Look Michael isn't what Mercedes want and need. They need young and hungry drivers. Nico and Lewis are just that.

Really?

It's a new season, a clean slate for every team on the grid. Predicting 2013 on 2012 is a bit close minded.
Except 2013 isn't all that different from 2012. The Championship will be Red Bull's to lose. McLaren and Ferrari will be right near them. Then you have every other team fighting it out behind the top three.
Yeah sure they are stuck in mediocrity forever.

We agree to disagree.

But playing the "age" card to justify the choice is wrong i think, certainly when MSC showed that he is still capable of fighting at the front and keeps getting better every year. But we've already written pages about his retirement and whether he could or he couldnt offer something, whether he wanted to stay etc. so let's leave it there.

In terms of drivers though, I am really disappointed by Nico. Sure he has the speed but he seems too lethargic, I want to see some passion, some fighting spirit from him and more aggression. Being fast alone doesn't cut it. That's why I liked MSC and Hamilton (in terms of driving at least).

PS: As for Vettel, sure giving the finger and all that is bad, although it can't be compared to revealing sensitive information to the whole world via twitter!

I used to be a fan of Hamilton's but after he let a woman get the better of him I lost all respect.
He's been erratic at best as well.

If he did, then fair play to him. Do you have a source?

He is not married to Mercedes, and evidently he is not married to McLaren. One thing is certain is that Mercedes are lucky to have him.
End of the day Hamilton in McLaren or Mercedes will still result in the same inevitable conclusion....Vettel/RBR victory.

And as for his driving, I respect that. Because he drives cars faster than anyone I can think of. Who cares what his choice of women or tunes or drinks or(add whatever you object to).
He's not Ghandi, and he doesn't pretend to be either.

I really do not think about drivers sitting in the car or being offered a micro just after jumping out of the car..it takes time to get back into "normal "mode.
But we have seen quite a bit of questionable doings by Hamilton in recent times. Not that I could ever forget Alonsos blackmailing of Mclaren..
Does this help a team like MGP? I highly doubt it.I´m pretty sure Brawn and his cohorts will wish they had pursuaded the old man to stay with them one or two more years to sort out the remaining issues..
Now there is at least one more fire to fight ..not to speak of how to tackle Rosbergs case who had an easy life with Schumacher -who always put team before personal interest.

What is happening with you Mclaren fans?? Wake up!!!! Let's speak more about this Jerez tests, aspects of the car an so on. Mercedes and Ferrari fans are talking a lot about aspects of their cars on this days. Mercedes have 39 pages on their forum about W04, and Ferrari fans have 29 pages on their forum about f138. Here, on mp4-28 we have only 19. It's ridiculous
Come on... Wake up. I can't believe that this forum is dead because our car is slow or hasn's any modifications. I'm waiting for long and complex discussions. :)
