A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.
How did you manage to understand from the video that it is the actual MP4-28 under there?
No matter how much you are searching and trying to find out stuff about the new car, you won't do it until they reveal it. Teasing is a great marketing instrument when it's done properly and it is aimed to increase your interest for a certain product and that is all.
"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe."Murray Walker, San Marino 1985
Compare that foto to the current published one. Notice how much higher the nose is compared to the top of the endplates. Only the -25 (though IMO still too low) or midseason -27 comes relative close to that height. So it's either those 2, or indeed the -28.

I cant believe your all speculating on that photo still, strong lack of common sense.
Clearly the car is raised and its pretty obvious that the car wont have been built up and put together yet.

So? Do you really think they are showing the actually chassis/bodywork at the presentation? It's nothing more then a model they will be showing; which only takes a couple of days to make.
