that's not just a light tap on the tire wall there.

to me its a bit silly to come straight out the gate with the pace. its a test session. im not saying there is no place for hot laps in tests session, just saying surely you shouldnt be going for them and pushing hard in your first few laps in a new car.

Skid marks remind me of Schmacher in Singapore.. Even after braking straight on into the back of the other car..Do they really have a gremlin somewhere or could be Lewis trying to test the limit of braking..

According to Gary Anderson, the car have front suspension damage. Lewis just said he was testing the car's limits, and locked up.

Thought of this too, also, Schuey's problems in Hungary spring to mind.
Can be just an accident, but maybe there's something in brake system.
