I'd presume day 2 will be posted later today :)

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Fernando Alonso is the best pay-to-drive driver in F1 with the biggest amount of money behind him.

Seems the Pirellis get too hot especially in the rear, could be a combination of their design and the fact Jerez demands a lot of rear acceleration particularly in sector 2. The most important thing is consistency of lap times rather than out and out pace, as it seems(from the testing times) that the Pirellis are degrading a second every three laps.

From the laps Hamilton did I could say the Mercedes has some potential, depending of course on how much fuel they were carrying, but they definitely seem competitive even out of the box like that.
Agreed! Looks like Mercedes has found its way this year...!

In the first video on this page, when you watch it from 5:20 Massa goes around Horner and Newey, they look at the car an Adrian make a gesture during telling something about the F138 to Horner. About what do you think it can be? It looks like it want to say the car is bouncing, or some part is flexing? Any ideas?

Maybe Newey talks to Horner about his wet dream where he tried to drown Helmut Marko, but Marko wouldn't stay under water..
Newey grabbed his head and pushed it down. He pushed, and pushed , and pushed ... but still Marko wouldn't go down.
It was a nightmare!

When you see the video, when Massa pass in front of Newey and Horner, you can see the front end of the car waving a little, i think Massa have found some understeer, perhaps he take the turn with too much speed. It's just a guess.

AMUS:

Rossiter collided with the mechanic at the front car jack.
The mechanic is hurt and the Force India's nose is damaged.

how come all teams are running only one driver on a given day? I remember how Michael schumacher once had the spare car (the 3rd car) set up differently for different weather conditions and he switched cars at one point.

Also, how come for one driver there is only one car? I understand different drivers have different set up requirments and preferences, but for base line running, could Nico not have used Lewis' car on Day 1 and similarly after the brake failure, could Lewis not have used Nico's car for the low speed aero runs he is doing today?

similarly, why would massa need to wait in the pits while his exhuast configurations were changed?

or is that there is only one pit crew for both teams? confused!

The jerez test live timings site is saying Vettel did a 1:06:493 lap. How is that even possible?
