I think they use the airflow coming out of the airbox. The DRD is fed through a slit in the upper side of the swan neck. You can see it in the second picture. This way it's very easy to disable DRD. Just slap on a closed top panel to the swan neck and thats it. A matter of minutes. On top of that, with this DRD system they can slap on/off the monkey seat as they like. Impossible with all the other solutions we have seen so far.

Yes, the beam wing is slitted. But this has nothing to do with DRD.
