Strolled to the forum and I noticed this topic is really interesting!
I think I also want to participate in this challenge beginning to develop the car from scratch (like the others for that matter).
Fortunately, I can do some drawings in CAD, the hard part is to interpret the technical regulation because I'm Italian!

If needed I can ask directly here?

Reading the rules of the challenge I read that the car must be free of suspension at the time of delivery right?

Yes you're completely right. You send the car in without a suspension and then they add it to the car before they run CFD on it.

The welcome pack includes the reg boxes so it will help to a point. at least for where you can or can't put parts. Nick is going to send the suspension and wheels so we can attach for renders or our own cfd runs using Khamsin (which you can get free) but we must still send it off excluding these parts.

I'm having trouble setting up Khamsin - the links for the Openfoam and Dolfyn installers in the setup wizard are both broken.

They arent as I have just installed them through the old 0.8 version of Khamsin.

Which are you installing Khamsin 0.8 or 1.0?
