That's one Prius I wouldn't mind seeing in the fast lane.
McLaren don't do Italian excess. Funny that. Seriously, McLaren do classy understatement not gaudy bling. Hence the lack of pointless shiny stuff.Cold Fussion wrote:The car seems to be lacking somewhat. The interior is pretty bland, it's not at all a work of art like the interior of a Pagani. My point is that Mclaren are building to design targets that appear to be purely performance based while paying seemingly little attention to other more important stuff. Pagani have shown you can have a best in class interior, exterior and performance, and If I were to be in the market for such an expensive car, I'd want to best in every aspect. I don't think you can really call the interior of a Pagani a bling fest either.Just_a_fan wrote:McLaren don't do Italian excess. Funny that. The exterior is mostly "form follows function".
What is the point of all car manufacturers making the same "blingfest" designs?
As for the engine noise, they probably haven't got around to tuning to exhaust note - most sports cars these days have their exhausts tuned to make them sound good.
What are those things in line with the diver's crotch?allstaruk08 wrote:not a bling fest at all hahah

I presume its a fancy buckle for a 5 point harness?
To be fair, if you'r interested in buying a Mclaren in the first place, especially the car that is meant to be the F1 successor then interior and comfort isn't really your biggest priority.ringo wrote:for a million dollars, that car better be a bling fest!
I like the paganis, especially for the detailed interior.
A million dollars for a empty black tub isn't really value for dollar. At the end of the day the speed of the car cannot make up for the million dollars, when you can get a similar sensation with more passion for half the price in a better looking package.
looks kinda cheesy with the mclaren logo vents:
