This year they have pull rod between lower wishbone. Didn't realize till now.

Is the pullrod the silver one? If so they have moved the lower wishbone mounting further forward too.

The driveshaft does go up a bit compared to the FW34, with this slightly higher arragement they don't need the huge keel that the FW34 had.

I wonder if the next step is to make a rear zero keel suspension.

It looks like they completely removed the gearbox. What's next? Suspension? :D

Next step is to shrink the clutch area further. that would be perfect for the turbo's packaging in 2014.

Note alignment of yellow intake and hollow alu shroud to its left.

Blue (2 intakes) I guess is brake cooling, but the louvred hole at top (red) lines up nicely with that axle feed tube.

Edit: the red flow might 'entrain' flow from one of the blue holes through the main stub axle?

There's no way something that beautiful is part of an assembly or setup rig, IMO.

Edit 2: See post below, tube goes round the back, I'm never going to make it in the CSI world...

Of course, think of rotary fans. But I guess it would be against the rules as a moving aerodynamic device.

That's what I meant. I wonder if there's a legal way, or justification, to pump air with the wheels.

Unlikely. A few of the teams have already been hit with "clarifications" on the profile of their wheel spokes.

What would they be pumping? I would imagine that it would then be deemed to be a movable aero device.
The wheel covers they had several years ago (now banned) did in fact push air through the wheels.

Didnt Ferrari mount a 'fan' near each brake disk for cooling, in the past ?

You cannot give not reflected shape to the rims as kilkoo says, so you cannot have spokes profiled like turbine blades.

But [/sci-fi mode on] there are 2 things that you could do:
1- make one f the pipes run as a ring around tha hollow hub, with a small slot. You get the whole thing to work like a dyson bladeless fan

2- after studying coanda for exhaust, you discover that there are coanda effect turbines and fans - (patented by super geek Nikola Tesla), and you use the brake pads as tangential stress propellers.
