Anyone know if a rotating wheel can be used as a pump?

Those holes are for the locking mechanism of the wheel nut. Usualy the locking mechanism is integrated in to the axle, but Williams can't do that becouse the axle is hollow, so they integrated 3 pins in to the wheel nut that, when the nut is thightened sufficiantly, lock in those holes.

Williams' silver duct certainly does not feed the axle. That would be just as much moving aero as RedBull's solution last year. Mods, could you move this to the williams thread?

On the second picture we can see a little fin behind the rear view mirror, i think that's new.

at the rear end comparison pics, the lower wishbone appears to be inline with the driveshaft now. at least the outer mount is at axle height, in the FW34 it the outer mount was quite a bit lower.

Compared to most other teams the Williams exhaust (the exhaust itself not the bodywork around it) seems very simple.

No exhaust chamber, relatively short pipe...

Williams to test to different exhausts in FP1. Maldonado tries the old (McLaren-style) version. Bottas has the new one (Red Bull-style).

Maldonado went faster by .5 on the "old" car, i wonder if this means trouble.

It took Red Bull several races to refine the ramp solution. Don't be surprised if it takes Williams a while too.
