Will be hard for ROS outqualifying HAM. Maybe, maybe.

Can't see anything magic from Webber. I hope he gets nobody hurt.

Weather now 24, 25, 26 on my forcast, sunny no rain.

Lotus vs Ferrari weekend?
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

I certainly hope so!
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

According to Pirelli this year's medium is more like last year's soft tire. This year's soft tire has also been made more durable by giving it a higher working range as well as being softer than last year's tire. Basically meaning the Soft and Medium have essentially the same grip levels but different hardness and working ranges. Whereas the Medium is harder(but with the same grip as last year's soft) it has a lower working range thus gets up to temperature quicker, good for finesse drivers (Button). The soft has a higher working range and has more grip, and wants to be abused to get the performance but wears because of it's softness. The two tires may be very similar in overall performance but go about it in different ways.

The Medium tire is more consistent, the other has more potential from an all out attack approach. Both last about 16/18 laps +/- It will definitely cause interesting strategies.

You think so? We've only had two races so far, and I for one, have been quite surprised at Rosbergs strong pace during qualifying. Even if it doesn't account for much, but Rosberg has shown exceptional pace (relative to Hamilton) in most practice sessions and Q1 and Q2. Then, in Q3 Hamilton had the edge - both sessions in changing conditions, which Rosberg later was disappointed about. I think in constant conditions, like a dry qualifying session, they could be even closer to each other.

I think this is going to be neck at neck. I'm actually a Lewis supporter, so I hope to be wrong, but I though Rosberg has been usually quite strong in China.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Don't forget Lewis has two races in a Mercedes car under his belt. A big difference with Nico.

One can hope, but experience speaks against it. Malaysia is one of the circuits where Webber always goes strong. I think in China Vettel will beat him as he usually does.

I have a great confidence in Nico, he will reach the podium and perhaps the victory if the new package works well in the WO4.

I have some doubts with Ferrari and Lotus and I am sure that RB will fight for the victory.

Its quite sure that we will have a dry weekend so it will be a great opportunity to take a deep look and some good conclusions on teams performance.

Anyone expects to see Massa beating Alonso once again on Saturday qualy? :P

If Hamilton came into Mercedes and destroyed Rosberg is every practice / qualy session then I would be really worried for Rosberg, Hamilton still has to settle into the team, if Rosberg is still much quicker in almost every session except Q3 at mid season point then fairplay to Rosberg, but I still think once Hamilton gets more dialed into the team and understands the car better he will comfortably beat him like he did to Button last season.

To be fair, even if Hamilton only did 2 races for MGP, he has many laps in testing. For ROS it's not last year's car either....I'm pretty sure the Merc has totally different traits than last year, thus it's about as new to ROS as to HAM.

I really think ROS has very good 1 lap pace and his racecraft has developed well over the years. MSC might have had an influence there as well. He just comes across pretty clumsy in some interviews and seems to make weird decisions during a race.....but he will certainly give HAM a hard time.

Yes I do, and this would be the 5th time on the trot, I'm not a Massa fan but this is quite a turn around for him.

I for one want to see a dry qually so we can get a clear picture of their one lap pace.

The Rosbery & Hamilton battle is intresting, I think Hamilton will always have the edge over a single lap, like Vettel he always seems to have that little extra when needed.

Rosberg is Hamilton's Massa. The season hasn't evolved far enough for Rosberg to realize this yet. Interesting to see what happens over at Ferrari if Massa continues to outperform Alonso.
