its not as simple as just remove it. They could and prob are testing with various devices running without fric at the factory but your changing the whole dynamic of the car if you remove the fric system now. If they are unable to solve the problem in next 3 to 4 races, i think they should start TESTING for 2014 like they started testing for 2013 last year. Because if FRIC is causing the problem and they add it on the next year's car, it's gonna be OVER for Merc'.
If there was an in season test then yes this would be the place to do it.
I just don't understand why year after year its the same problem.
BTW I don't think its the coanda exhausts because if you remember they run with and without it during pre-season testing to check for overheating the tyres.
