to me the thing of importance is a linearity and progressiveness in vehicle response that inspires driver confidence it must be readable to the driver .The car taking a set is one thing but you have to acknowledge that the car is slidingthen when building maximum carnering force (slip angle) and actual force felt at the steering wheel is going down when this happens.
As the tyres are not loaded equally inside wheel outside wheel it is very clear you either need independendly constantly adjustable toe to optimise the inside wheel for optimum grip or you live with a compromise....(eg ackerman,bumpsteer)
