Turn 6-7 chicane has tarmac run off , that's were Button got by Vettel in 2011

corner 8-9 gravel and grass, never seen anyone get trapped in the gravel, in the dry they drive straight over it

Yes, it has been confirmed. Video can be found here (French video)

About 20 seconds in. Not entirely tarmac, but they have extended it so we won't see guys running off there as much, which is rather disappointing.

Another disappointment is the DRS zones this year. I like how they shortened them, but there really should be two separate detection points. I feel like the perfect DRS setup for Montreal would be a zone into the hairpin, and then the frontstretch, but apparently we're stuck with this. Hopefully it doesn't cheapen the race with easy passing :|

Imagine if its a dry race and Hamilton/Rosberg wins the race, there will be a huge outcry from rival teams that Merc benefited from the secret tyre test.

Meteoblue forecast rain Thursday and persistent rain Friday. They also have a high likelihood of rain Saturday & possible heavy showers in the race window on Sunday.

Yeah right. What they couldn't achieve in 3 years, they achieved in 3 days of testing without knowing the tyre compounds being tested, without changing setup and all done under supervision of Pirelli. Right.

All weather forecasts are questionable but waiting 4 days after the race to get a realistic forecast is a bit much.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh you are a bad boy...

Todays weather forecasts predict a light rain for Sunday, but nothing relevant and with continuity. On the otherhand, we could see more rain on Friday and Saturday.

I also think that this is ridiculus(even more taking into account that the new tyres will not be available until Silverstone) but if they win the race expect some protest from other teams and media. #-o

Updated weather from Meteoblue. Rain now expected throughout Saturday as well as Friday, but maybe a dry race.

Little or no rain on Sunday, may be perfect weather for Mercs, but as the temps are low, I think we'll see lots of graining on tyres.

The rain on Saturday would likely mean starting behind at least 1 Red Bull though which is not perfect for Mercedes.

I expect Mercedes to fight for the pole once again. Force India and Mclaren will be up top. Ferrari may struggle unless it rains. If it rains, I expect Button to be in the mix. If it stays dry, it'll be Kimi vs Vettel. The Mercedes will get eaten alive. I'll be surprised if they finish top 10.
Honda!
