Ferrari F138

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

So 2011 is back?

Well, it's pretty much the same car as Spain...track temperature is much cooler...Maybe we'll get our pace after a few laps and we're expecting warmer temperatures tomorrow. Hopefully we can get the track temp up to mid 30s.

the Scuderia is very "MUM" lately.

isn't the new longer exhaust bolted on permanently? in either case, if Fred wants some points tomorrow he'll have to do one less pit stop...

Very irritating indeed. Looks like something of a permanent decline for both Ferrari and Macca.

Jesus, the word 'maybe' implies speculation. A conclusion is a very different thing. In future try not to let your fan preferences dictate the tone of your posts please.

Still it is an "maybe" based on absolutely nothing. Teams often work out different programmes in Free Practice, so to base doomsday scenarios on ONE free practice is complete bogus, with or without the "maybe".

IF Vettel wins,as is quite possible, and IF Alonso falls farther behind, which is very possible, one must wonder about James Allison's availability. The car's development has been halting and uneven -- and I'm trying to be kind.

I believe James Allison has gone elsewhere. We'd have heard something by now.

Dude!!!!! What's your definition of "a good car" ? Alonso's in 2nd place in Driver Championship and Massa sucks! ...ok that was a little strong.

I bet Merc and RBR are hoping they don't get temp's in the 30s .....
