Mercedes AMG F1 W04

Just to be clear, are they symmetric in the sense that the left is different from the right?

Asymmetric in the sense that the left one looks to be slightly different to the right one, the actual fairing that covers the brake assembly, it's got an extra "side intake" for air on the left one.

Ah thanks. Meant to say asymmetric...typo.

If I remember correctly his car had the new front wing in qualifying, but I'm not 100% certain about it.

And had a totally new design for this year, one that no one is using ?
Its good to see that Mercedes made a change to the front wing. They aren't being complacent. :D

Rosberg may be spot on in his assessment this cars diffuser is the problem.
Looking at earlier pictures of the cars diffuser, it also seems apparent that it remains largely untouched from testing spec.

Easy to say focus on the diffuser. Maybe it works wonderfully, but something ahead maybe distorting the picture.
I am not sure about the high speed stability but I think the width of their diffuser is the main cause of their tyre wear issues.

BTW, I have a question about this sensor. Is it still on the car? I mean did they remove it for qualifying or not?

The Sensor was raced, I think its integrated into the wing.
