Williams FW35 Renault

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

What is the role of the "tube" over the radiator from the last picture above ?

Not the small one - that one is for cooling the engine.

This area of the floor(and the rear brake ducts) has seen some modifications lately.

Thanks to those who continue to post pictures. Shame the car is not making any forward progress up the grid.

The team has been very quiet about the tyres. Do we think this is because they suffered no issues and were running them as per Pirelli guidelines unlike other teams?

A 2014 spec FW?
Seems smaller than the max.

Good spot! Yeah it seems like a 2014 wing. Not only is it smaller, the wing itself is completely different too

And the shark fin on the engine cover now got a ferrari like bump

Yep, it's not a smaller version of neither their 2012/2013 FWs, it's a new design.
The Ferrari style shark fin i believe was introduced at the Brtish GP.

Not even remotely close to the FW31 front wing.
