Thanks for that report. The team is clearly working hard. It's just that the results are not coming.Redragon wrote:donskar wrote:Apparently, the updates to the F138 are not all they could have been. Alonso expressed concern over the effect a loss in Hungary would have on the team. Well, 5th and 7th on the grid is not a very auspicious start to the weekend. Yes, it's a long race, but Vettel on the front row is not cause for optimism among us tifosi.
Spanish press are reporting that for this race Ferrari had completely new rear wing, new floor, new diffusser, new exhauts and new engine cover, Also Alonso said they were not expecting this upgrades to work straight away but they are really happy and with hopes that will work by the end of summer after some improvements
Despite the "rumors" or the spanish press, nothing new except "new" front wingmuelte wrote:So, new diffuser was not used today?
Yeah and the numbers from the Toyota one isnt accurate either, which seems to point at that Ferrari are incompetent on using a windtunnel xDLorenzo_Bandini wrote:Sorry but its not a news.Ferrari never said the windtunnel was working since last year. They use Toyota wind tunnel and they use this this year.
Tony why did you compare LONG exaust sidepods with SHORT exaust sidepods? i think it's normal that the long version is slimmer, the exausts are in a different shape.tony77g wrote:the new Helmholtz Chambers have produced an enlargement of the side pods

This change evidently involves a greater internal dimensions which led to an enlargement of the outer sides. Obviously on a twisty circuit and slow as the Hungaroring Maranello's engineers have preferred to sacrifice the space by virtue of a higher yield of the rooms of Helmholtz on a circuit of this type may help in the traction of the car.

But despite of this i understand what you want to show... just try to search the right sidepod's photo.
Yes i know, i just suggest you to choose the right photo to compare with.tony77g wrote:TechF1 wrote:Tony why did you compare LONG exaust sidepods with SHORT exaust sidepods? i think it's normal that the long version is slimmer, the exausts are in a different shape.tony77g wrote:the new Helmholtz Chambers have produced an enlargement of the side pods

Ok, you were right, but also with short discharges can be seen as the side pods have been expanded

I agree with emmepi 27. Here comparison between discharges Bahrain and those of BEGINNING seasonemmepi27 wrote:It's not new. It's the same that we saw in Bahrain...
