Shambles, good time to miss qualifying for the first time in 2013 and good time to join "RB will dominate" crowd, Lotus... , so predictable  (shooting themselves in the foot (tm))

How many places will Webber lose at the start?

Well let´s be realistic, first time since 2010 he´s qualified outside the top 10.
Neither of the two you mentioned can boast about that.
And one of them has won the championship each and every year since then.

Also i think you should refresh your memory a bit on accidents in critical times. Alonso has binned his car in Quali and Vettel has he too been absolutely lost sometimes in Qualifying, they all make mistakes from time to time, that´s part of being a human. What sets them apart is how few they do.

He made a mistake. several actually, some can have been caused by the first mistake damaging the car but nonetheless he took full blame even though we all saw Sutil blocking him.

You're right, Vettel didn't make numerous mistakes through the 2012 yas marina grand prix, when it was critical to the champion ship... Oh wait.

Don't make these ridiculous comments, it can only end one way.

edit: because I made a mistake at a critical moment!

Yeah he could have easily blamed it all on Sutil. He shows him to be the bigger man by taking the blame. Really, really unfair to say "you don't see vettel and alonso doing that". Yeah sure; let's forget vettel's iceskating show in Hungary and Alonso feeling just fine with a front wing beneath his tyres in China. Bit a punch beneath the belt, that comment from Shrieker. Looks like he was waiting for that all season long.

Hulky and Webber were my stars of the day.

Webber for managing to get relatively close to an on fire Vettel, and Hulky for coming 3rd in a Sauber that has looked sub-par all year. Tip of the hat to Perez for managing to out-qualify Button. Rosberg did not impress me today, I thought he could have challenged for pole in P3.

Alonso and Ferrai are really showing strain. Massa has being talking a good game all week, and he did well here.

In regards to Lewis.

Lewis has been on rapid form since Canada, but today was a bad day for him, mostly of his own doing which he was mature enough to admit. It will be hard for him to get some meaningful points tomorrow, I just hope as a fan of his he at least tries his best and does not phone it in. I think he could come around 5th if he knuckles down and does not let today effect him.

Lotus have a woeful day, worst I can remember in a long while.

Sadly it works both ways, some are just waiting for reasons to critic Lewis and Vettel, sometimes I wonder if people's interest in F1 exists just to crow about a mistake either of them make.

Sutil gets grid penalty.
Won´t have any effect on Hamilton´s position but i think a few drivers behind appreciate that little penalty.

I'd go for the clutch, down 100 revs.
Thank you really doesn't really describe enough what I feel. - Vettel

Yea i´ll take clutch as well, just enough to stay in second but not challenge Vettel into T1.

You guys have really little faith in RB.

If we really want go down that route I would at least expect them to be able to come up with a new kind of trouble

That's being very optimistic imo. I predict at least hulk to jump webber, if not massa and alonso as well.

As far as Webber is concerned, the sky is the limit in terms of how bad a start he can have! By far the worst starting driver I have seen in F1...

This one is from Malaysia 2004. Webber qualified 2nd and he was about P15 before the first corner:

User comment from JAonf1:
Jon Noble has just tweeted: “Caught up in an amusing press scrum with Luca di Montezemolo just now. He shouted at Alonso to ask if he was driving for Marussia next year”.

After Alonso allegedly calling his team stupid or sarcastically geniuses."
To which James Allen responds:
I was there. He did. He wanted to show that there were no hard feelings between them, clearly.

He also asked him if he called the team stupid on the radio!

Alonso about to crumble under pressure like he did at mclaren, he may go back to enstone for a 3 year bout again.
As for Hamilton, not sure what he can do from the back, but i think he can find the podium if some weird stuff happens.
The cars in front of him except the ferraris aren't particularly quick.
For Sure!!
