Fernando Alonso slightly agitated:

Alonso: "So i have to let him pass? Really, you're stupid guys"

Apart from Alonso being annoyed 4-th year in a row, the weather predictions are for 'some' showers around between 13 and 16:00 local time. The race local time is 14:00.

Further track reports: cloudy sky and wind.

Please don't spread false information, he said geni, not scemi, he never insulted the team, he was sarcastic about the fact that the team got the timing wrong.

'morning everyone... this is the actual situation at 8 km from Monza. Very cloudy and the temperature is for sure much lower than yesterday.

Rain predictions are for some negligible amount, under 1 mm per hour. GP2 in thirty minutes, so we'll see about the weather.

Except for some fast cars outside top 10 - boring Monza. Only chance for something interesting - Webber's lead and some innovative team orders and fireworks between the two.

Hopefully it rains mid way through rather than at the start...as it would make for some interesting racing. =D>

There were just a few drops of rain during the GP2 race.

Surely there is no difference between sarcastic "genius" or honest "idot"? Both of them are insulting, both convey the same message of frustration, both blame the team.

According to himself FOM never broadcasted the message when he thanked the team so we should not put to much weight on a radio message, FOM is like a tabloid magazine, anything controversial they will see as pure gold.

Checked the weather and looks like little to no rain until 18,00 and even then it´s 0.9-1.8mm

I would think so, i can´t imagine FIA allowing teams to run around with broken aero components.
There´s no advantage either in that sense, just restoring the car to the specification they used in Quali.

I was using the F1 timing screen yesterday and on the lap that Sutil blocked him, Hamilton's sector 2 time was up around 10secs (~38s instead of ~28s). There has been no mention of this and something must have happened to lose so much time. Nothing was shown on BBC TV. I suspect that the Sutil block (what less than 1sec?) is being used as a bit of a smokescreen.

Is there anywhere to review the sector times of final qualifying? (New here so apologies if I've missed something). Or does anyone know what really happened (spin, off the track?)

The thing you are missing is he did not block him on the lap he was on, it was the lap he was about to do.
The whole start to the lap was compromized but you are right in that the lap they were on, Hamilton made mistakes.

In the end Hamilton takes full blame for everything (did not even care about the Sutil incident) and that´s what matters.
He messed up plain and simple, with or without Sutil in the way.

He damaged his floor when he went off, jumping some kerbs somewhere, i think Ascari.
And that hampered the whole session sort of. Just lots of things that went wrong with Mercedes in different areas.
