Reca, benvenuto! E un piacere averti qui di nuovo.
Ed hai andato a la gara di oggi? Non eri tu qui aveva la bandiera di "Freedom for Lombardia"?
Grazie, come sai scrivo poco per mancanza di tempo ma cerco di leggere spesso.
I didn't go to the race, rarely do, I did my traditional Thursday + Friday routine. Still more than enough to see the Bulls were untouchable this year, I really have an hard time remembering having ever seen a car more impressive at Ascari than the RB9 I saw in FP2, the way it changes direction... my God that is blindly quick, others looked like in slow motion...
And thinking that the morning at first chicane and then at Roggia I wasn't particularly impressed by its behaviour on kerbs and acceleration, it looked rather normal, I recall thinking something like "Well, the RB is not scary, maybe it's doable...", then I moved to Ascari and... ouch... kudos to them, they made (again) an impressive machine.
As for the flags... you can rest assured you'll not see me carrying one of those (or the Padania's ones, the green "wheel-like" symbol)... I was born and raised in Monza, parents grandparents and few generations back always from this area, but I like to think I've enough brain to not consider by default as enemies we should get rid of those who happen to have different origins (be it from other areas of my country or from outside)... in fact you've no idea how it annoys me every year reading about booing on the podium and so on.
I know that the almost totality of people aren't like that, but it's always the most idiotic minority that gets all the attention (see last post...) and it's quite annoying.
