As some might identify from my profile pic, I own a Lotus Exige S2, model year 2005 (yeah, the one without drive-by-wire and traction control
) with some mods, precisely race cat & exhaust, light battery, racing oil pan and supercharger+charge-cooler kit by Bemani (~275bhp), which is quite a lot considering it only weighs give or take 900kg.
I regularly track the car or drive in the Alps here in Switzerland. I've also done a few long trips, most notebly Zurich to the South of France (St. Tropez) and driving pretty much every mountain-pass along the way, including passes like the Col d'Iseran (highest mountain pass in the Alps) and the Montecarlo Rally course (Col de Turini). Took me around 17 hours straight (I did it in one go) while doing it. When I did this route for the first time in 2011, I took some inspiration from TopGear, when they did their search for finding the best driving roads (Season 10, Episode 1).
I've owned this car now for 7 years.
Other cars I've owned (nothing special) are a BMW 328i, Citroen C2 and a Smart (
) for my daily drives. Looking to buy myself a new daily drive next year... At some point, I might also eventually decide to part with the Lotus.
