that's what alguersuari said aswell, never gonna see him in a F1 mobile again tho.........so official proof first. and then, contracts mean squad.

Alguersuari case is rather different. He did have a seat lined up until the team in question fell into financial difficulty.

sounds a lot like lotus now. have to see it to believe it first. not that i wouldn't expect hulk to be of interest for a seat @ FI, there's more then meets the eye. lotus is just not gonna happen, staying at sauber could be possible but the fact sauber is in deep financial difficulties [couldn't pay his salary nor the energy bill] and monisha's statements suggest his qualities aren't gonna get him the seat neccesarily. thus FI is the final spot for him, but we have Perez eyeing a seat there and i dunno what are the plans of FI. seems hulk is back to square one as when he got the boot from williams.

He way just drive for FI

Because Sergio to Sauber wouldn't be that odd. He would fit right in hes a fast driver and has money
Hulk is only a fast driver no money.

So Hulk would effectively easily replace Di Resta.
Perez and Gutierrez at Sauber and Maldo would easily fit into Lotus.

As they could use the funding he brings while betting on Grosjean to bring in Podiums/Wins.

I don´t see Hulk at sauber next year ,no matter what result we see in Brasil.Sauber has clearly said there are talented drivers out there with a budget and sauber need the money .Simple as that .
So it´s Perez or Mladonado they are after.
Perez -would make sense as they rate him and it would open opportunities to retain mexican money even when pursuingthe russian route with sirotkin. But if the Russian option is not going to take off -would slim pay for both Perez and Gutierrez?
Or would it be a better bet trying to retain Gutierrez and have Maldonados money as well?

From a financial standpoint I´d think splitting the bets is the thing to aim for at Sauber -but Maldonado will prefer going to Lotus .....
where again perez will knock at the door now very loud .Money and speed and a lot more race craft .

Hulk will have to hope for ForceIndia or he is out again sadly.I´m sure he will be a very hot ticket in terms of reserve driver
but he needs to seal a race deal asap.
If I were Mateschitz I´d give Vergne the boot and place Hulk in the lead car at TR.

I'd just like to know why ppl rate Perez, frankly to me he seems less promising than Maldo and just as crash prone - at least Maldo has proven he can win and fight quality drivers when the car is decent!

perez and Maldonada have very good reasons to find a seat for 2013 methinks.I does go as far as they can demand a decent competitive drive for the money they can spend.
So they do not even think Virgin,Caterham or williams -It´s Lotus who could still end third in the championship ..but let´s face it there were worse drivers in better cars for less money in what we call the good ol days...
and there were capable drivers with considerable budgets as well .....in terms of sponsorships ,rich parents or extremely wealthy persons who donated a bag of cash to pave the road for a talented but underfunded driver... Conte Zanon was paying for Ronnies seat at lotus in 1978....Not that I would dare to compare him to the likes of Prez or Maldonado..

I think he knows that Perez(or Maldonado) is going to get his seat.

I am still praying for these movements:

Perez to Force India
Maldonado to Sauber
Hulkenberg to Lotus

I have said it more than once, Nico deserves a good car, he is a great driver.

Great move for RedBull/STR, but not so great for Hulkenberg, methinks...

What is in it for either party? Hulkenberg will never end up at RB and so wastes another year, at a worse team than FI and unless he's going to be tutoring Kvyat, RB don't gain by taking away a seat from one if their drivers.

If Perez or Maldonado DON'T go to Lotus

Perez will go to Sauber and Maldo to Force India.

Maldonado wont go to Sauber
Perez wouldn't chose FI over Sauber.

So its Upto Maldo or PRZ who gets the Lotus seat. Then the other two fall into place. But it sekms the Incredible Hulk has a seat..... The question is which one and does he really.
