Martin Whitmarsh did say he was helping Checo find a drive though, and Force India do/did have a technical partnership with McLaren, so it wouldn't be completely outside the realm of possibilities...

That´s quite hilarious.

-Vijay my man, how about you take Perez? He´s an awesome driver!
- really? Then why don´t you keep him?
- ehh....

Mark Webber heading straight to Porsche (Monday) after the Brazilian Grand Prix:

Boy...that LMP1 looks sleek, beautiful, extremely well designed and conceived. Looks like they're testing a Coanda effect exhaust?

Perhaps with Webber's F1 "knowledge" he will help develop Porsche's F1 car for 2016.

sources confirm the porsche is indeed a 4 cylinder but not inline.....mulsannescorner elaborates the flat 4 does not make sense and picks the old daimler flat 12 as proof but forgets you might be able to place the inlets conveniently with only two cylinders per bank ....sure the exhaust is placed on top of the engine .

So lets see if it´s really a 90°v4 or a flat 4 or something in between ....

The twitter says that Perez has signed for Lotus, official announcement in Brazil. Do we believe that?

It really wouldn't be a bad move for Boullier. Perez comes with a paycheck just in case Ijaz does not; he's close enough a talent to Hulkenberg; and he probably won't destroy 10 tubs a season like Lurch.

Hulkenberg to Force India with Sutil, or so the story goes.

Hi everybody. I really hope Checo Pérez could get a good seat for next season. He really deserves it becouse of his job. Remember when he went to McLaren he did without sponsorship, so he got that seat without money.

In this moment sponsorship is very important becouse the most desired and available seat has been put on sale by Lotus-Reanult and is waiting for a buyer. PDVSA, TELMEX, QUANTUM are in the run to catch it. In the other side, yes, Nico Hulkenberg is a great pilot, but not better than Checo, thats was analized by McLaren last year and again this year (Withmarsh said that several days ago), so I belive that the chase of the Lotus second seat still is open and that Boulliers and his team are thinking a lot who is going to be engaged.

Saludos,

Not entirely accurate... while Pérez does receive a salary from McLaren for his services as a driver, he brought his personal sponsorship from Claro to the team.

You are wright, but Claro participation in McLaren team was minimal speaking about the team's budget, contrary what they bring to Sauber under the firm of Telmex. If Checo would stayed in McLaren Telmex will substitute to Vodafone.

Ah, another newbie. Shame really, the drivers that don't deserve to stay look to be the ones almost certain to get a seat. Whereas the drivers who have shown real talent (Hulk) don't have any decent options. Hulk really should be in that Lotus. Maldonado/Perez are poor substitutes if you ask me.
