A shameless image thread for the enginephiles

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

Zonk.... -1

Any diesel should be consigned to agricultural/logistics weekly magazines. That or the quite stupendously ridiculous ken gibson and his weekly motoring pull out in The Sun newspaper(I buy it for the air intakes on page 3).

Show me a diesel engine you can rev the nuts off of.
The truth of course is that diesels are vapid, insipid beasts that drone away with not so much as a hint of drama save for the clutter noise on start up.

I understand diesel. I dont dig it though.

I should showcase you for those kitchentable engineers who very often infest forums like this with their perennial and moronic "the true measure of the engine is its torque" crap Fox, well there you go, a diesel has plenty of torque, happy with that?

The torque is great but the engines lack soul!
