would like to see 3 cars per team, as Ferrari wants ))) then every good driver can have a chance.

To do this though, we need to lose some teams. Bernie has made it clear that he would only (at a push) want:

Ferrari
Mclaren
Mercedes
Red Bull
Williams
Lotus
Sauber
Force India

I'm quite sure he would dump Toro Rosso, Caterham and Marussia straight away if he could guarantee 3 car teams from the above.

Nice balance of history from Mclaren-Williams-Ferrari-Lotus, plus a group of 90's entrants in Red Bull-Stewart, Mercedes-BAR, Sauber and FI-Jordan.

Still, I think this would be a thread in itself...

I'm actually ashamed of making such a newbie error!

Not heard of car being described as a carrot before! Certainly sounds like he's sticking two fingers to them on his way out of the door.

He should take a lesson from Button's interview after turning on the xmas lights in his home town - "we learned a lot this season", complete with his usual confident grin. No mention of carrots!

Just spotted myself in that video....the hi-vis jacket makes it a little easier!!
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

better off having a carrot then a glass in sutil's hands. i remember him arrogantly smiling as if he had a contract
in the bag for 2014. where's all that talk now?

To be honest, i didn't miss him when he luxed himself outta there, and i won't miss him when he's out the door again.
Never impressed, and seems like a bit of a hater and complainer. He seemed calmer this year, even though I think he
definately deserved a penalty for that abudhabi pass, but i kinda remember him balencing towards becoming a grosjean
or maldo on track back when he was still paired with that other washed up driver Liuzzi.

Have keen interest in a Hulk/Perez pairing, i think that might work well. And it would most definately be interesting to
see how they compete against eachother aswell - Both totally different drivers and style, yet both 'potential' drivers imho.

just bring out the news FI!

FI is lucky to have 2 talented drivers; both hungry for success and point to prove.

Sutil is largely a waste of space, he's simply never done anything spectacular in his F1 career (beating DiR home most races doesn't count seeing as he rarely seems to finish)!

I do agree Hulk Perez would settle the dabate on wether or not to categorize Perez a Pay driver or a Driver who is well sponsored.

Hulk Perez will be entertaining no matter where FI fights but hopefully near the top 8.

I ´d guess Perez will fare similar to Hulk as he did this year with Button in terms of points score distribution.I doubt he can hold a candle against Nico in qualy though. The guy was really nailing it with precision this year.

Well Perez did eventually out Qualify Jenson at McLaren 10-9 so we will see how a year of working learning from Button improved him. Hes youger then Hulk hes 23 spent two Good years at Sauber and one learning year at McLaren.

So i will put my money on Perez.

I don't know why but i think there is something the last season showed moments I'll be it flashes only but still showed moments of skill like im a Ayrton Senna esk way i can't wait im going to be looking forward to Force India.

Hopefully this combo is delivering on its promise ....
Perez was not exactly blowing away Button but then so was Hamilton when it came to scoring points in a race over the season.

Is it more motivating to have a wealthy backer firmly staanding behind you or is it a bigger help knowing you need to deliver every time you go out to justify and prove your worth as you have no sponsors apart from your talent? I don´t know and sure both medals have their backsides and it depends on the guy who is in that position.
I ´d think Hulk is the bulletproof of the two so my money is on him.
