Good thing about next year is everyone starting with clean slate. One who learns faster will win this battle.
Perez is no were near Hulk in terms of raw pace n talent but that guy is a fast learner. I think, that will be a decisive factor . I wish for Hulk but most probably Perez will beat him.

Still wondering how things at Sauber will turn out. Any truth to the Marussia merger or just rumour?

I have not seen much this year of Button or Perez magic when it came to tyre management.Could have been the car too far off to allow any of it but my take on it is both are really dependend on a car suiting them to be able to shine at all.
Last years Sauber was a stunner and maybe as good as the Mclaren and RedBull .We should not forget Perez should have won at least one race ,but he blew it with a somewhat cackhanded rushed attempt.
Yes Hulk also threw away a superb position ,but he was defending at that time ...when Perez was in a very strong position against alonso.
Maybe I´m seeing it all wrong ,i have been wrong before....

I think if Perez was showing anything in a Senna esk way, the guys at mclaren would have picked up on it.

Unfortunatly Nico Hulkemberg and Sergio Pérez are in their way to a team which has nothing to offer them. I mean, top team are working hard on upgrade their technical & human team but FI.

At the beginning of last season, they had a good performance but after the mandatory change in the tires they were technically unable to overcome that deficit. I do not have any hope about their capabilities.

Force India seems to start off the season strongly, and then fall behind as the development race at the sharp end of the grid heats up.

Well he did provide a quite a bit of entertainment during Qualifying at the 2011 Australian Grand Prix mind you saving the car!

However I think he'll be heading to DTM or the WEC.
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

I'll wait til I see the official Sauber driver photos before counting on that, nothing is certain in F1 these days.

That's the pattern of this year but they have always started mediocre in the previous years and were bringing development updates throughout the season, although not every race weekend like the top teams. But they always were behind the midfield teams at the start of the season and leading the midfield teams at the end of the season.

Agreed - I think this year they started well, but then when the tyres changed they lost a lot of ground and decided to focus on next year due to the rules changes - have they made any statements at the time that would support/refute this as I can't remember either way....??
Favourite driver: Lando Norris

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Dear FIA, if you read this, please pm me for a redesign of the Technical Regulations to avoid finger nose shapes for 2016! :-)

Evidently a multi year deal. I understand Nico wanting some stability but really? I suppose that won't matter if Ferrari comes knocking in a year or two.
