My vote would be F1 Technical Racing, with Steven as TP, myself as TD, TC as ED, DaveW as SD and richard as PR-spokesperson!

Munudeges should do just fine with sponsorhip relations, picking up Genii, Shampoo and Venezuela moneys.

Fox can easily handle anything to do with MrE and the FOM.

Not too long ago we have had the same situation where teams were invited with promised budget cap...

So, to answer the OP - no new teams, IMNSHO. I know that Toyota aren't on the list, and for sure I know from senior manager from BMW that they aren't interested either, contrary to their keen interest at Formula E, however...

As someone said already earlier in this thread, I too can only see this happen when any new entrant is guaranteed that the budget cap will become effective, AND they know what the limit will be. If that is not installed properly, or with an outrageous limit, I fail to see how anyone can be interested.

However, in support of xpensive, I wish to declare my own interest in taking up the TP role in F1Technical. Quite an interesting idea actually, maybe we should set-up a separate thread to discuss who among this forum can join and what drivers we'd hire

Over in the Double Points thread, a few intrepid souls have suggested that the sport might come to its senses if only we fans would stop watching the charade. While that is an excellent idea, it is not likely to occur, sadly. If everyone who is a member of F1T stopped watching, nobody would notice. Or care. And besides, we cannot avert our gaze, just as people at a cock fight cannot look away from the carnage before them.

In support of this assertion, let it be known that I hold the rights to the url "www.boycottf1.com", which I secured after spending several thousand dollars to watch the TireGate race at Indianapolis. To date, I believe I am the only living soul to ever visit that site, which is now defunct.

But if the TEAMS were to rise up on their hind legs and demand an end to the madness, THEN some changes might occur. Let's imagine, for a silly moment, that Baron Makeashitload were to decide his advertising dollars could be put to better use elsewhere, perhaps in IndyCar or Formula E. And let us further suppose that Marussia, Caterham, Sauber, Lotus, Toro Rosso and Force India all departed from the field.

What we would be left with would be a dozen red cars circulating the track amongst a sprinkling of McLarens and Mercedes and a renaming of the sport as Formula Ferrari. Shades of Indianapolis all over again! That giant sucking sound you hear after that happened is the rush of advertisers leaving the sport.

I think the budget cap will hamper new entrants. The first few years you always need a bigger budget to get facilities up and running, hiring, etc. Unless they can get clear excemptions from that, there will not be enough money for both building up and running a team.

I think the budget cap will hamper new entrants. The first few years you always need a bigger budget to get facilities up and running, hiring, etc. Unless they can get clear excemptions from that, there will not be enough money for both building up and running a team.

F1T racing will need to field an autonomous car. There's no way in hell this forum could possibly achieve any kind of common consensus regarding drivers!

New team? What about giving the current samll teams a fundament to live on.

I thought Bernie wanted ten teams and the big team want customer cars...

New team is only possible with customer cars.

I don't like the idea of customer cars, i d rather see 3 car teams.

But the best solution is to distribute the money in way all current teams can have a halfway fair competition.
