Motorsport Project

Post

Hello, All

I'm going to be creating my own Motorsport Series. I'm aware this is a big project, but I'm really optimistic, and enthusiastic about this. I have software, such as SketchUp, and I'm not too experienced, but I'm not a rookie when it comes to it. I know many of you here have a wide knowledge on F1, Aerodynamics, Chassis, e.t.c. and this is why I've posted this here. So far, I have not started, but I have allocated jobs, (As such), for people to work on a specific area of the motorsports. If you are interested, please PM me, I really need some enthusiastic people, and hopefully we can get this project started! Also, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me here.

Thanks,
Dark

Seems interesting. But to get people on board you need to put some more info out there i.e:

What style of car
What kind of powertrain
What kind of rules (spec series or to a formula)
Where??

And a bit of background to yourself as well.

The software should be the least of your worries at the moment.

If you want to employ people perhaps you should give more assurance of the position. To see someone using free CAD software and they intend to start their own racing series makes me wonder if the whole vision will ever fully come to fruition.

I'm interested in helping, but like I said, I need to see that my efforts will be reimbursed and will help in the ultimate delivery of this cool project you have.

You want to start a new series?

What does that mean?

You want to start a new one make series?

You want to start a new series for existing cars?

You want to design a car for a one make series?

As stated, some more information on what you are actually wanting to achieve would be beneficial.

I'm interested in helping anyone with anything wherever I can, I'm new to this forum and as a Motorsport Engineering student I like to get involved wherever I can to broaden my knowledge and meet new, like minded people.

So send me a PM if this is still something that you are doing!

How many millions of dollars cash do you have on hand (either personally or from investors) to get this all going?

I'd love to help and have always wanted to start a motorsport series in the back of my mind, although i already have a career atm and it wouldn't be practicable by myself.

As the guys mentioned earlier, a bit more info would be good, just your ideas roughly what you're looking at doing?

Anything's possible if you put your mind to it
