Yes I've tried to update that page the last hour. Nothing new at all. Dont know why they have removed the tweet about the reveal.

I checked youtube chanels, twitter, facebook, www official websides from Shell and Ferrari, but it all pretty dead..

Interesting that the info about launch was all from Shell, so maybe they got ahead a bit too far?

Perhaps. They aslo deleted the tweet. But still strange that they would put this information out without checking with Ferrari. And the launch date was reveled about a week ago in the hairy_scotsman interview with someone at Shell.

Very strange indeed. Shell and Ferrari have been partners for decades now, it would have made perfect sense that Ferrari wanted to reveal the engine at Shell headquarters.

I'll leave the link up in the headpost for today. If by tomorrow nothing has been revealed, I'll take it back down.

According to Italian media, Ferrari are so protective over their newest creation that select journalists were only shown a 3D render.....

... & they were only allowed to hear a sound clip. No technical journalists allowed, no cameras or recorders. Not even SKY or BBC permitted

The rumours say the engine is fabricated using "exotic" and "lightweight" material, and that Ferrari banned anyone who would ask questions..

In fact, the only detail we have is the name, 059/3

Was really hoping for a live reveal of the engine, not just a private reveal to select vip and journalists via 3D modeling.

In an interview today by OmniCorse.it, James Allison spoke about the 2014 car.

- All of the updates to the infrastructure; wind tunnel, CFD, driver simulator, etc are complete and on the same level as the best

- The Maranello wind tunnel is working & working well. Ferrari are however doing comparison tests with Saubers Hinwii tunnel

- "We are seeing some very interesting numbers(from the wind tunnel) on the 2014 car" says Allison

- The 2014 car could/will have as many as 6 radiators.

- Expect some surprises with the new cars and potential gray areas in the new Regs

- Fernando was in the driver simulator earlier in the week. The driver simulator has been updated since Alonso last used it and he was pleased with the improvements.
