Doing a quick google image search, that picture is from a test in Jerez, of the W01 driven by Schumacher. It's is wikimedia since 11/2/2010.

You keep saying to read the article, but its just someone's words and a crappy video tease. With no still photos or independent media they can say and show whatever they want, and fans are so starved for information they'll believe almost anything. Sorry I'm not a believer yet.

What's the thing that looks like a pole running alongside cockpit and the top of the nose? It sticks out into the air so it's definitely not the livery. It could be a piece of testing equipment but I've never seen anything like it.

Many teams have used the installation allowance at Silverstone before shipping the car to the winter tests. So it's not unreasonable.

I can't recall what Merc have done in previous years.
