Indeed, and no monkey seat so far. And damn that gearbox looks boxed
Is there not an outlet just in front of the rear suspension?
Seems to be, but not as big as ferrari
I'd wait until there will be some shots from behind

I missed this somehow. Do you have the source, or could you just sum up what he said please? :)
This one is in German though:

But it's well known that Bob Bell was the first to confront Charlie Whiting during a meeting of the technical working group with this design that would follow logically from the new rules. The anteater nose was afterward internally nicknamed Bob's Knob.

Easily the best looking car this season ? And if their performance is good too, other teams who have these schlong noses will look like i...

Well they'll look bad.

Merc seem to have designed a no-nonsense proper racing car. Any pics of the rear section ?

Have you taken a closer look at the RB10's nose? Ugly as hell.

is it possible that the nose is an upsidedown u shape? if you think of ferraris as a straight line forming the required area, think of Mercs as an upside down U shape, with the bottom of the tusks touching the lowest point. in so doing allowing the rest of the nose to be further up. it is however still one complete section.

it is for sure higher than the ferrari's nose.
Is an upside down u shape an n by any other name?

Seems like the nose is slightly asymmetrical, sort of clossover between Lotus/Ferrari.
Impressive work on cooling. Strange that McLaren had to have such huge radiator inlets and outlets.

Ii wonder if there is more than coincidence that the three works teams with the largest budgets came up with a nose design that didn't need an ant eater, or two.

I have to say, the rear end package looks far more developed than the Red Bull, much tighter and looks like smaller sidepods. Both seem to have equally developed front wings too.

Is the Merc power unit smaller than the Renault?
