Entrepreneurs?

Post

Just wondering out of pure curiosity. Are there any other entrepreneurs in this forum? If so, what have you started in the past?

I'm at my first venture as an entrepreneur. The company, funny enough given the theme of the website, is making electronic systems for the automotive world. Our current project is an affordable, aftermarket engine control unit and just at the end of last year we've created a bespoke LPG injection controller with a GUI for a client. :)

Been tinkering with a design for a few years now that if I can make it work right I'll probably develop it into its own business.

Also I run a web services business already, which sadly hasn't been doing so well. Saturated market, declining demand, and ever more complex requirements to stay in the game.

I´m trying to start a new business with a drone for filming

I´m construction engineer (not exactly, but that´s the best translation) and I´m spanish, so imagine my situation... :(

I´m flying rc planes since I was 16, and flying FPV (first person view) for around 6 years, so after trying some jobs outside my sector, I decided to try this.... if there are people earning money with this and I have tons of experience... why not?

So I designed my own frame for an octocopter (actually I was designing it for some years as a hobby to practice with Autocad, and decided to do it seriously), built it, test it, crash it, repair it, test it, crash it, re-design it, build it, test it, crash it, test it, dial it up, test it, test it........

And it´s two years now since I started, yes, I´m probably too perfectionist, but I´m getting closer to my target, and if I succed my drone is going to be one of the best out there, as my design solve some inherent problems of drones

Wish me luck, I need it :P
