You're mixing the theories. But anyhow, i've not been proven otherwise from 2009. Let's see how they run this year.
They are sticking with the same curvature, even moreso this year with less aero assistance from elements such as beamwings and blown diffusers.

I think its to color of the blue paint. No other car has used it. No other car has been some dominate in the last 5 years. I also have not been proven otherwise. That makes my theory fact!

It's true, the williams Newey designed was blue too, and it won lots! Also, it had lots of ellipses.

The car has the signature "radiused" sidepods, as predicted. They somehow managed to bring back the pre coanda shape; which was expected. The shape is even more distinctive on this years car. I fear there will be aerodynamic domination, but it's half the story if the power unit is not versatile.

I'm not sure if it was yourself or another member who posted at length about this and included some flow images comparing different side pod shapes using a small CFD program. It sort of reminds me of the development of stealth technology, in which the F-117A was pioneering in the use of faceted surfaces. Later with better understanding and advancements in design the concept evolved from faceted surfaces to 'continuous curvature' on the B-2 and subsequent stealth programs.

As the RB9, the RB10's diffuser has a curl on the edge too. Except for the Marussia MR03, no curl for others teams at moment

As far as I am aware the RB10 does not have a red flag, it would fail the rules about secure bodywork!
